London-based global food delivery company Deliveroo has carried out an onboarding rider training program for its future network in Qatar.

Ahead of the official launch of the service, Deliveroo riders completed a comprehensive training program that included safe driving lessons, road safety guidelines, some health tips and customer interaction advice.

Currently, the company operates in over 200 cities and towns across the UK, and works with 50,000 restaurant partners, major grocery partners, and has more than 50,000 self-employed riders.

In the Qatari market Deliveroo will have to compete with regional giants like Talabat as well as with local startups like Snoono, Rafeeq and Fingertips.
