Amazon's Twitch has introduced Discovery Feed, a short-form video platform, in a move to rival TikTok amidst concerns over the future of the Chinese-owned app in the US.

Discovery Feed, accessible through Twitch's mobile app, allows viewers to browse short clips extracted from longer livestreams, offering a selection of content from creators. Unlike TikTok, where users upload their own short videos, Twitch users select entertaining segments from livestreams and turn them into clips.

The personalized Discovery Feed is tailored to viewers' watch history and real-time interactions, potentially including mature content that meets Twitch's guidelines. However, unlike TikTok's live subscription option, streamers on Twitch won't receive a share of the ad revenue generated from Discovery Feed.
