American automaker Dodge has unveiled the Charger Daytona SR electric muscle car concept.

The car has a strict and aggressive design, there is an aerodynamic element with illumination at the front and a panoramic roof on top. The wheels are 21 inches in diameter with diamond-cut faces that continue the concept’s aerodynamic efficiencies with a turbine-like design.

In the cabin, Dodge has installed a curved 16-inch dashboard, as well as a 12.3-inch multimedia screen and optional 8-inch projection display.

The Charger Daytona SRT is powered by a twin-turbo 800-volt Banshee with over 700 horsepower.

An adaptive Fratzonic acoustic exhaust system is responsible for mimicking the sound of the V8 petrol engine in the electric car.

The exhaust system uses Dodge's patented technology, which uses amplifiers and loudspeakers to deliver a volume of up to 126dB:

The concept also has an electromechanical eRupt transmission that allows for jerky acceleration like a powerful car with internal combustion engine.

It is a virtual gearbox that is designed to mimic manual gear shifting. The production version of the Charger Daytona SRT is due out in 2024.
