Anicorn unveiled the fruits of its collaboration with the studio of game designer Hideo Kojima and NASA.

The company unveiled a watch that was named Space Ludens after the studio's astronaut character, Ludens. His suit, Ludens's Extra-Vechicular Activity (EVA), designed by Yoji Shinkawa, served as the inspiration for the watch.

The dial is engraved with the NASA logo, while the front features From Sapiens to Ludens, the motto of Kojima Productions. The watch itself has a 316 stainless steel bracelet with a leather strap with a carbon fiber pattern. The back of the watch is transparent, made of sapphire crystal, through which the Miyota 8215 automatic winding mechanism is visible.

The Rare Edition set is available for $1,540, with only 100 pieces. In addition to the Space Ludens watch, this set also includes a souvenir carbon fibre Ludens mask, created to "movie props standard," and another 500 watches will be issued in a limited edition with an individually numbered metal plate, priced at $940.

The company has also introduced the $125 Ludens Sacoche backpack, produced by outdoor gear company Syzygy, as well as a Space Ludens NASA T-shirt priced at $68.

The Space Ludens collection by Kojima Productions x NASA x Anicorn Watches will go on sale at Anicorn Watches on 27 September.
