Along with cabin crew and floor workers, UAE airways are looking to recruit IT-professionals. In 2021, Emirates was planning to take on board more than 500 IT professionals in the next six months to gain expertise in various areas, such as cybersecurity, technical product management, DevOps, and hybrid cloud.
Some of the highest demand jobs will be in the IT departments of airlines because technology is clearly benefiting every business, said Adel Al Redha, Emirates’ Chief Operating Officer.
Etihad Airways has signed a three-year agreement with Kyndryl to modernize its IT infrastructure by facilitating the use of best-in-breed cloud platforms. Meanwhile, Air Arabia, is within the dwelling stretch in the direction of launching two airways, in Pakistan and Armenia. Both projects will require high-on-skill tech professionals and extra recruitments.
