The UAE Cabinet has formed the Higher Committee for Government Digital Transformation, which marks another step the UAE makes towards digital future.

The committee will be chaired by Ohood Al Roumi, Minister of State for Governmental Development and Future, with Omar Al Olama, Minister of State for Digital Economy, AI and Remote Work Systems, serving as the committee's vice chairman.

The committee will supervise the UAE's digitisation plans and enhance the readiness, competitiveness and alignment between projects and the digital systems of the UAE federal agencies.

Unlike the Higher Committee for Future Technology and Digital Economy established in Dubai last week, The Higher Committee for Government Digital Transformation is a federal agency responsible for advancing new technologies in all of the emirates.
