New UAE Golden Visa Rules Come into Effect

The UAE is the second largest Arab economy with a booming IT sector. The demand for new talents here is growing steadily – 76% of employers said they planned to expand workforce in 2022.
According to the UAE Salary Guide 2022 there is high demand for IT specialists in the country, especially for candidates specialising in UX design, digital marketing, product development, digital transformation project management and e-commerce leadership.
"Online platforms, enterprise software systems and mobile apps and websites have been scaled or created from scratch to meet the growing demand for digital interfaces, services and products," says Michael Page his salary report.
Front end and full stack developers, heads of software engineering, cloud architects and engineers, and IT project managers are the most popular positions.
“More and more businesses in the Middle East (similar to the rest of the world) are adopting cloud solutions, which has resulted in a rise in demand for this skillset,” says Michael Page in his salary report.
As for the salaries, the highest ones (apart from the executives) are paid to those working with enterprise applications and cloud architecture. While the executives receive from dh 70,000 to 130,000, applications director can count on dh 40,000 – 80,000 and head of enterprise architecture – dh 50,000 – 75,000.
