A new InterNations survey shows that 83% of respondents highly rated the UAE's visa regulations, ranking it first, compared to 56% globally.

According to the survey, three out of five expats face no problems with local bureaucracy. Expats also praised the accessibility of government services online.

The UAE has reformed visa regulations, making it easier to obtain work permits and long-term residence visas, in a bid to attract foreign talent and become a global hub for talents.

In terms of language, 85% of respondents said it is possible to live in the UAE without knowing Arabic, as English is widely used.

Some 87% of expats praised the availability of high-speed internet at home, while 90% praised the use of digital payments.

Quality of life in the UAE also received high marks from the wide range of leisure activities available. In addition, around 86% of expats highlighted the culinary variety and dining options.

Almost all expats surveyed in the country said the UAE was safe, and around 86% were satisfied with political stability. 78% rated the availability of healthcare services as easily accessible.

Around four in five expats believe moving to the country has improved their career prospects, and around 65% said they were happy with their career opportunities and the local job market.
