WhatsApp May Allow Users to Share Voice Notes as Status Updates

Messaging app WhatsApp is reportedly working on a new feature allowing users to add the ability to share voice notes as status updates.

According to a report by WaBetaInfo, users will be able to post voice memos up to 30 seconds long in their status updates.

In addition, voice status updates are always end-to-end encrypted and will only be shared with people you choose in your privacy settings. The feature has been seen working for iOS users on WhatsApp.

WhatsApp previously introduced the WhatsApp Polls feature for Android and iOS users. The Polls feature was introduced along with the "Communities" feature, which allows users to have separate groups in one place.
