The proposed ads would appear in the recommended section of the menu, showcasing apps available for download from the Microsoft Store.

Currently, the ads are only visible to users in the United States who are part of the Windows Insider program's Beta Channel. Users outside this group or those using devices managed by organizations will not encounter these ads.

However, Microsoft offers an option to disable the ads entirely. Users can navigate to the Personalization settings, locate the "Show recommendations for tips, app promotions, and more" toggle within the Start section, and deactivate it.
