Telegram has rolled out a major update this month, introducing more than 15 new features aimed at enhancing user experience and functionality on the platform.

One of the standout features is the addition of Recommended Channels, accessible through a new 'Channels' tab in the search interface. Users can now discover new content creators with similar topics to their subscribed channels, making it easier to explore fresh content.

Moreover, when browsing posts from a channel, users can seamlessly jump to the next unread channel in their list and continue scrolling to find recommended channels.

In addition to recommended channels, Telegram has introduced improvements to user profiles. The new 'My Profile' section in Settings allows users to view their profile as others see it and quickly edit or update any information.

Users can now pin up to three stories to the top of their profile page, showcasing their achievements or important updates. Plus, privacy icons have been added to indicate the privacy settings of posted stories.

Furthermore, Telegram users can now add their birthdays to their profiles, allowing contacts to see and celebrate their special day. On birthdays, animated confetti and balloons will greet visitors to the profile, and a banner will remind users to congratulate others on their birthdays.

Additionally, channel owners can now display their channels on their profile page, providing a convenient way to promote personal projects or company blogs.

Other notable features include the ability to link collectible usernames to Telegram accounts, share live locations indefinitely with friends and family, control notifications for reactions to messages and stories, view profile pictures in forwarded messages, and include animated emojis in polls for Premium users.

Group admins also gain access to mass moderation tools, improved recent actions overview, and enhanced reaction management for channels.

With these updates and a growing user base of over 900 million monthly active users, Telegram continues to innovate and expand its platform, offering a diverse range of features and functionalities for its global community.
