Samsung is set to extend its AI capabilities to older Galaxy devices, offering users a taste of advanced features previously exclusive to newer models.

In a recent forum post from Korea, a Samsung representative confirmed that the upcoming One UI 6.1 update will introduce Galaxy AI features to a range of 2021 and 2022 flagship devices.

While not all devices will receive the full suite of Galaxy AI features, select flagship-level models from both years are slated for inclusion. This expansion of capabilities will notably exclude budget-conscious devices like the Galaxy S21 FE and Galaxy Tab S8 FE.

For 2022 devices, including the Galaxy S22 series and others, users can expect AI features at the level of the Galaxy S23 FE. Meanwhile, select devices from 2021, such as the Galaxy S21 lineup and foldable devices, will receive a more limited selection of AI functions.
